Status: offline 		Add the Dolen Clan - Just booked DEC 20 - JAN 02!!!! Was going to wait - but jumped on Aerobus before sell out - not risking last minute deal fo rthe holidays...

I do mean CLAN: Engin, Missy, Joshua(6) + ...
Mom & Dad Dolen (Celina & Vural)
Great Grandma (just call her that)
Sister & Brother in-law (Ayse & David) part of the time
Maybe Brother & sister in law (Don & Jan) part of the time
Maybe Uncle Tracy & wife Karen part of the time

Hotel Casa Dolen is open...

YES - We took possession in April and are having Joe & Renee do some work for us.  We hope to have the back finished by December visit.  Look forward to seeing everyone then!!

Status: offline 		Ok, I just got what you were saying...arrivals & departures will be staggered - or SOMEONE'S resorting it!!! Mom, Dad & Grandma most of the time.  They are a big family & used to air matressing it - after 10 years, I'm ALMOST used to it. That's why I'm hoping to have my backyard retreat finished!!!!

Status: offline 		We will be there with son Cooper, who's 19, and more extended family (Sergio's parents and his brother and his family), but many of them are staying in a condo in Cancun for the first week of Christmas.  Then I think his parents will be coming to stay with us for the 2nd week or so through New Years.  If we don't have a 2nd story on the casa by then, and they are staying with us, you will either see me slightly inebriated at all times, walking the dog till he drops, or on your doorstep asking if you need some company .  Serg will prob be right behind me!
We have light-up Christmas palm trees that we bought last year, so we'll be in the spirit!
FYI-Vivaaerobus just changed their luggage policy; I came across it yesterday.
Can't wait to meet y'all in person!

Status: offline 		This neighborhood is just hopping!  Sounds like a great New Years Party! It is so exciting to know that we get to meet so many people on each of our 3 planned visits for the rest of year.  Now, you all have marked the calendars haven't you?? 

We'll also have company......our friend Jill from Alaska and her daughter.  And hopefully our son and possibly his girlfriend.  It'll be good to test the house for 6 people....2 in each room.

Kathy, of course I make it sound like I'm working like a dog when I'm in Mexico (that's somewhat true!) and that has worked well when I tell that that I HAD to book another trip to make sure the house will be ready for December!! I'm hoping to make it down again in October if I can get a good price on a ticket which at this point seems pretty unlikely!!

Status: offline 		Oh oh, my dog just read your post and now HE wants to go to Mexico!  He thinks he should get to go everywhere we go.

And if some crazy guy in the neighborhood greets your dog with a bark (no, I'm not kidding) and gets down and starts romping with him .... uh ... that would be my husband, Ted.  Don't be alarmed, I always make sure he packs his medication when we travel

Status: offline 		Bummer, take me off the Christmas list...those two weeks airfare on JetBlue triples and quadruples.... and it would need to be all five of us......Boy, I will be jonesing to get down there but I don't have the time off for early December...so for now I guess I'll have to wait from October until January or February...and I'm not really thrilled about the weather then.... wow, I'm already talking about NEXT YEAR?????

Status: offline 		Tag is a real beauty!! By the way, I have heard (seriously) the best form of home security in Mexico is a barking dog - maybe we could set recoreded timers of Tag at all of our houses to go off every 30 minutes?
